At least 13 people were injured, two seriously, in a shooting in downtown Austin, Texas.
Gunshots were fired Saturday at 1 p.m. 25 (06:25 GMT) on Sikts Street, a popular area full of bars and restaurants.
At the time of the shooting, the street was barricaded to prevent vehicles, said Joseph Osef Chacon, interim chief of the Austin Police Department.

“Our officers responded very quickly,” Chacon added.
“They were able to immediately start life-saving measures for many of these patients, including the use of tourism. applications of chest seals.
Chacon said some officers at the scene were transporting patients to hospitals in their police navigators, where it was difficult to contain the crowd and deliver ambulances to the wounded.
The shooter was not arrested immediately. It was not clear what caused the shooting.
Chacon said the police description of the suspect was not “very detailed” but said the man was a man.
